Program Information

This Wireless Replacement Program (the "Program") is a replacement service provided to subscribers of Pocket Communications by eSecuritel Holdings, LLC ("eSecuritel"). New Hampshire Insurance Company is the underwriter for the Program.

eSecuritel is the administrator for the Program, providing the subscriber one source for claims servicing and customer service. What is Covered

Covered incidents:

  • Loss
  • Theft
  • Accidental physical damage

Covered equipment and accessories:

  • One wireless device. The wireless device's current unique identifier (e.g., ESN, SIM or IMEI) must be registered and on file with Pocket Communications and eSecuritel at the moment of loss, theft or damage.
  • One standard battery (as part of handset loss)
  • One standard charger

Claims may be fulfilled with new or reconditioned equipment. Reconditioned equipment may have minor cosmetic flaws. Replacement of accessories may be with generic or non-original manufacturer accessories.

Terms and Limits

The Program is a service that is billed to your monthly wireless service bill. Failure to pay your wireless service bill in full will result in termination of your coverage and the obligations hereunder.

Losses are limited to 2 claims in one 12-month period, beginning with the date of the first claim. Under this Program, the replacement value for covered property is limited to $1000, inclusive of $25 for accessories.

 

Filing a Claim

  1. If your equipment is lost or stolen, report the incident to the police department and obtain a case number. This number will be needed to process your claim.

To file an insurance claim, you must:

  • Be the account holder
  • Report the claim within 60 days of the incident
  • Provide proof of purchase, if requested
  • Provide proof of loss, if requested

Claim replacement conditions:

Claims may be fulfilled with new or refurbished equipment. Refurbished equipment may have minor cosmetic flaws.

If the exact model is not available, the replacement will be of like kind and quality. Colors, features and accessory compatibility are not guaranteed.

The Program has a limit of 2 claims in one 12-month period, beginning with the date of the first claim.

Damaged or recovered lost or stolen equipment must be returned to a Pocket Communications store, as it is the property of eSecuritel.

Equipment must be returned in order to receive a replacement phone.

There is no cash paid or reimbursement provided to you. The Program is a replacement service only.

This Program covers only the equipment that has the current unique identifier (e.g., ESN, SIM or IMEI) on file with Pocket Communications.

Monthly Subscriber fee and processing fees are subject to change upon reasonable notice, in accordance with state law.

You have 60 days to fulfill your claim.
